Well, I started school yesterday, but it wasn't too bad despite my cold dread. I am taking Spanish, Sociology, Ethics, World Lit, and Interpersonal Communication. My World Lit teacher was supposed to be hot according to ratemyprofessor.com (no, that is not why I signed up for him; Danielle signed me up and it was the only lit class that fit my schedule), but he isn't, though he is nice and has a good sense of humor.
Christmas went off well. We had the Chinese contingent over, as usual, with Yi Ding at their head. We played werewolf (a form of the game mafia)'til the wee hours of the morning and had a blast.
The day after Christmas (Monday) Uncle Dennis, Aunt Ginger, Libby and Grace came over to present their gift to us and we played (bet you can't guess) werewolf with them too.
On the Tuesday after Christmas we had a neighborhood get together and several of our neighbors stopped by, but we did not play werewolf, though we did have fun. Dad was on a roll and couldn't stop making bad puns that everyone (including me) found very funny. One of our neighbors who has knee and back problems is interested in USANA, too.
The Wednesday after Christmas I flew out to visit Madonna and her family in Maryland. We drove all over the place (like we usually do when I visit), even though Madonna had just had a foot operation and should have been resting. I kept trying to get her to take time off for rest, but she just wanted to keep going and going. When we drove to Washington and saw the National Zoo, she got a wheelchair and David (her husband) pushed her all over the place. The Brett, Cory, and I ran up and down the steep hills and had a good time too. While I was there we also took day trips to see Harper's Ferry, Gettysburg, Antietam, Ft McHenry, Arlington National Cemetery, and the outsides of the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, The Smithsonian Institute and the Whitehouse.
Amazing.
I'll come back and finish later because right now I'm swamped. Andrew, Laura, Dad, and I are going to a conference this weekend to learn more about the nutraceuticals (USANA) Dad is on. I need to clean my room and pack.
